Hello and welcome to my page for photography. My name is Einar and I am based in Sandvika, which is situated just outside the Norwegian capital of Oslo.
I bought my first camera house in 2008 and have loved photography ever since. I have had Pentax all the way and have realised I like to take pictures of everything that fits into the terms "symmetry, depth and color". Most of my images are of either slow moving or not moving motives like statues, flower / bud macros, dead leaves or old cars, landscapes and cityscapes.Â
I have worked on sporting events as well, that required different kind of photography, but I really enjoyed that too.Â
One guy commented that my pictures are with "something symmetric" in the centre and "symmetry and order around it". I guess that goes for all my pictures.
On this page I am displaying some of my pictures and the variety of my style. There are some blog posts from days I have been taking pictures. More content with image galleries is in the making.Â
Living in Norway we have diverse seasons throughout the year. The cold and crisp winter night and warm and humid summer days are the extreme, but this gives a variety of possibilities in photography.Â
I currently use Pentax K-3 II and Pentax K-3 III camera bodies. When it comes to lenses I mainly use Sigma 18-35 f1.8 and Pentax DA* 50-135 f2.8, but other lenses are used as well. Especially during spring I use my bellows to take macro pictures of buds. Nature is really a wonderful place to take pictures of.Â
There are other manufacturers than Pentax that are better at ISO, has more frames per second and such but Pentax has build-in GPS, astrotracer and Pixel shift and that are functions I love and use often. Beside that the weather proofing and build quality is very good.Â
If you look at my links-page you will see I follow some YouTubers that are into movie editing. I have been editing movies for some years with DaVinci Resolve and I have some content at my YouTube-channel. In addition the links-page contains links to photographers I follow as well.Â
