I play a game called Ingress. The game is developed by Niantic labs, which is a part of Google. The game is Googles way of getting the nerds outdoor. I do a lot of travel and before I visit a new place I do some planning on how to get around and see new places where I am going to. I am not going to dwell too much about it here, but Ingress has features that makes it fairly easy to walk routes almost everywhere. One of these walks took me to KerepesdűlÅ‘ (Kerepesi cemetery in English) in Hungary, which is a fairly huge cemetery.Â
While I was there a fierce thunderstorm came. It took me less than a minute to become wet throughout all my clothes. Both wind and rain was fierce and I tried to squeeze into a doorframe of a crypt to take shelter from the bad weather, but it was pointless. Huge trees and branches broke as if they were twigs and after a while an employee came around in a car and told me I had to leave the cemetery as it was too dangerous to be there.Â
I can't explain why, but I like the architecture of cemeteries and other religious sites, and the pictures below is from that day and the next one, as I had to come back to complete what I had started.
