Visiting Lake Constanze

There’s something special about the light around Lake Constance. It shifts slowly, almost without you noticing, and suddenly the landscape moves from gold to blue. On this walk, I let my camera follow my gaze along the shoreline, where everything from small birds in the reeds to two owls became spontaneous subjects. I stopped to capture wind‑dancing grasses, the moon rising over the lake, and a sunset painting the horizon in warm tones.

The result is a series of images that reflect what I love about outings like this: the calm, the details, and those small moments that appear when nature gets to take center stage.

A car cemetery in Sweden

A forest in Sweden hides one of the strangest museums I’ve ever visited: a sprawling car cemetery where rust and moss have been working for decades. Scattered across the terrain are hundreds of abandoned vehicles, some of them more than 100 years old, slowly sinking into the landscape. I’ve returned several times—and every visit feels like walking through a time capsule that nature is patiently reclaiming.

An evening in Oslo city center

There’s something special about Oslo when the cold really settles in. Sounds soften, the light sharpens, and the city takes on a quiet, almost theatrical atmosphere. On one of those evenings, I brought my camera to the area around the Opera House. There is some really nice architecture there close to the Oslo fjord and a place that always delivers. This becomes truly striking when winter darkness meets icy surfaces and still water.

I wandered around the building, from the broad, snow‑covered slopes to the reflections in the fjord and the warm glow rising from Bjørvika. The result is a series of images that try to capture that exact feeling: the coolness, the stillness, the graphic lines — and that small hint of magic that appears when the city seems to hold its breath for a moment.

A sesion with the stoic statues

It All Begins Here

Confidence doesn’t always arrive with a bold entrance. Sometimes, it builds quietly, step by step, as we show up for ourselves day after day. It grows when we choose to try, even when we are unsure of the outcome. Every time you take action despite self-doubt, you reinforce the belief that you are capable. Confidence is not about having all the answers, itis about trusting that you can figure it out along the way.

The key to making things happen isn’t waiting for the perfect moment; it’s starting with what you have, where you are. Big goals can feel overwhelming when viewed all at once, but momentum builds through small, consistent action. Whether you’re working toward a personal milestone or a professional dream, progress comes from showing up — not perfectly, but persistently. Action creates clarity, and over time, those steps forward add up to something real.

You don’t need to be fearless to reach your goals, you just need to be willing. Willing to try, willing to learn, and willing to believe that you’re capable of more than you know. The road may not always be smooth, but growth rarely is. What matters most is that you keep going, keep learning, and keep believing in the version of yourself you’re becoming.

Leaving the philosophical corner I present you some pictures from a Vigeland sculpture park in Oslo. This is a place I tend to revisit because the facial expressions of the statues looks different based on the light, shades and season.

Sunset at Sunnaas hospital in February

This blog post contains pictures from a sunset outside Sunnaas hospital outside Oslo.

All winter i have been waiting for good enough weather to take pictures from a terrace at Sunnaas hospital. The hospittal is situated on a hill close to the Oslo fjord. The terrase is on the south-side of the building complex and the view is stunning any day. During winter the sun sets early enough so I dont have to stay there really late. In addition the evening and night are a lot darker than they are during summer. And dont get me started on the colors. On last Saturday there where just some clouds and no winds. It had been fairly cold for some time, which meant there still was snow around.

It took a while to get there from home, but it turned out to be worth it. There were actually some ice on the Oslo fjord, and that says alot for the length of the cold weather. It was still about an hour to sunset, so I walked for a bit around in the area around the hospital. When i had set up my equiptment a member of staff came around and started chatting with me. We talked for some length about photography and it was a nice adition to a already nice day. After she went inside the hospital again the sun set and I got some amasing pictures.
