Chapter 01: Camera and sensor types
Many cameras have a tilting or fully articulating rear screen, and it’s incredibly handy. A movable screen makes it much easier to compose shots from unusual angles. You can shoot from ground level without lying on the ground, hold the camera high above your head in a crowd, or film yourself while seeing the frame. It also helps in bright sunlight, where adjusting the screen angle can reduce glare and make the image easier to see. For many photographers, a flexible screen simply makes the camera more comfortable and intuitive to use in everyday situations.
