Chapter 03: Additional gear
Camera straps or harness for comfort and security.
When you by a camera house a stock strap is packed with it. They are often uncomfortable, so it is not uncommon to buy netter ones. Upgraded straps or sling systems distribute weight better, reduce fatigue, and make it easier to move quickly and safely.
I have a double harness that enable me to have both camera houses attached to my body at the same time. Harnesses are “attached” to your body in another way than normal / single slings, so the weight from your camera(s) are distributed differently. This is very handy of you have long days photographing. It can be extremely tiresome for the neck to have one or even two cameras with lenses in standard straps around your neck for hours.
