Chapter 03: Additional gear
Remote shutter release eliminates camera shake and blurry images. There are tiny vibrations in the camera whilst the picture is taken, both from when the shutter release button is pressed and because the mirror moves (if you have a camera with mirror). Even the slightest vibration can ruin a long exposure. A wired or wireless remote lets you trigger the shutter without touching the camera, ensuring maximum sharpness.
